Did Mick Jenkins Just Drop a New "EP" Visual ?

If you're a fan of Freenation & Mick Jenkins you’ll appreciate this one. One of our favorite low-key Chicago rappers, Mick Jenkins, has been pretty quiet lately, but just came into 2018 with a subtle surprise.

Mick hasn’t had a project since "THC" (The Healing Component), released in mid-2016. THC definitely was a dope project that just felt like art to my ears. The entire project was about self-love, and love, in general, told with a "vibey" lyrical flow. If you haven’t heard “THC”, do us a favor and take a listen. While you're catching up don’t forget his other projects; "Water(s)", and "Wave[s]", both also fire mixtapes.

Now almost a year and a half later, Mick Jenkins decides to drop a little visual for the fans titled “or more... the frustration” via Instagram, which we can all assume to be labeled as a mixtape or EP.

Giving us a little Instagram swipe, the visual then swipe's to a list of 8 tracks, that are more than likely, beautiful songs by Mick Jenkins. The track list also includes producer credits and looks to have 1 feature. Unfortunately, there was not a release date present in the post from Mick Jenkins or FreeNation.

With the surprise post drop happening on a Wednesday, let’s hope we get it sooner than later and right on time for #FreshMusicFridays brought to you by The Rap Hippies on Instagram.
