2 Chainz 'Rap or Go to the League' Release Party

On March 1st, 2019 2 Chainz released his 5th studio album entitled, Rap or Go to the League. This album features 14 tracks, with collaborations from Lil Wayne, Kendrick Lamar, E40, Ariana Grande, Travis Scott and more. We know that 2 Chainz can turn up a party or event with almost any of his singles, but with this album we can hear a lot more of 2 Chainz’s versatility and artistry.

As if the diverse collaborations on this project weren’t enough, the A&R for this project was none other than NBA superstar, Lebron James. This is a pretty cool match up, and ties all of the tracks and album name together.

2 Chainz displayed a bit of that versatility in Track 1 on the album, featuring Marsha Ambrosius. It features some spoken word, and gets you excited to hear what the rest of the album is going to vibe like.

"This has been one of the biggest days of my life," says 2 Chainz at his ‘Rap or Go to the League’ album release party. The party was hosted by Republic in Atlanta, GA on Friday, and featured guest appearances by Jermaine Dupri and Skooly. A lot of the talk around the ROGTTL release has been positive, and full of support from other artists in the game.

In a radio interview Chainz said, ‘Momma Hit a Lick’ featuring Kendrick Lamar was one of his favorite tracks on the album. If you haven’t heard it yet, check out the track below, and let us know your thoughts.
