The 63rd Grammy Award Winners We Care About

Do we care about the Grammys? EHHH!

Do we know it's a popularity contest ran by white old men? Of course. Despite the recent uproar of boycotts towards the Grammys by a number of artist like Nicki Minaj, The Weeknd, Teyana Taylor along with some snubbs. I will say as a community of music lovers we still give a round of applause to some of those who won a Grammy last night. We understand the frustration to those who are speaking out on the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards Show but let's acknowledge some history was made and some of our favorites dominated the show.

If you missed out on the show heres a recap of the winners WE care about:

Shout out to everyone who won! Before we go we must give it to the Queen as Beyonce made history winning 28 total Grammy wins by a female artist while her oldest daughter, Blue Ivy just became second youngest person to win a Grammy.

In Hip-Hop history, this was Nas's first Grammy EVER.

Lastly, in female rap history, Meg Thee Stallion was the first female rapper to win "Best New Artist" since Lauryn Hill in 1999. Can you guess why Nicki Minaj has been trending along with the Grammys now?!

Overall, not bad at all! Being honest I'm most proud of the under dogs that I wouldn't have expected to win a grammy at all and that's Kaytranada and Thundercat.

But hey we rooting for everyone black over here!
